Dear Storm Volleyball,

WHAT A RIDE!!

Through these past 8 years of my life, this club has been one of the few things that has stayed the same. The friendships and memories I have made are some of the things I hold dearest to my heart.

I am so thankful to have chased my dreams and broken records alongside my best friends and am forever grateful to have gotten to wear the words STORM on my back, representing them on some of the biggest platforms. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to play the sport I love!!

Love you always!!

With seven years of club coaching experience and current leadership as the Head Coach at Incarnate Word Academy High School, Kelsi is passionate about developing athletes both on and off the court. Over the past three club seasons, her teams have consistently placed in the Top 5 at national qualifiers and earned multiple first-place finishes.

1. How Volleyball Scholarships Work

Most college volleyball programs offer a combination of partial scholarships and financial aid rather than full rides. Even full scholarships may not cover all expenses, so evaluate each offer based on overall value and fit.

2. Player Attitude & Behavior

College coaches evaluate more than just raw skill; they watch your attitude, effort, and how you interact with teammates. Stay positive, coachable, and supportive at all times, especially in high-pressure tournament moments.

3. Maximize Every Court Opportunity

Even if a college coach isn’t at a court specifically to watch you, your performance can still leave a lasting impression. Play every single moment like it matters, because it does.

4. Never Assume Coach Interest

A coach’s actions during a club match don’t always reflect their true level of interest. Stay focused and consistent, because you never know what they’ve already seen or what they are actively evaluating.

5. Make the Right Decision for YOU

Choose a college based on your specific academic, athletic, and personal goals—not outside influences. This is your future, and the right recruiting decision should reflect what’s best for you long-term.

Player Showcase

Since 2014, our fifth year as a club, we’ve seen dozens of athletes graduate from our program to compete at the collegiate level. Many more have come through Storm and gone on to great success in academic and professional fields, taking the lifelong lessons they learned on our courts and applying them to their daily lives. THEY are the reason we exist. THEY are our legacy.
