Taylor Tattersall
Head Coach

Taylor Tattersall is a passionate volleyball coach with over a decade of experience across beach, indoor, and club volleyball. He began coaching beach volleyball in 2013 with Pali Beach Club in Palisades, California, where he started growing the game on the sand, helping countless athletes develop their skills and compete at a high level. His leadership extended to club volleyball, where his City Volleyball teams earned two medals—a gold at the Salt Lake Showdown JNQ and a bronze at the Junior National Championships in the USA division.
Beyond coaching, Taylor is a dedicated former special education teacher with the Los Angeles Unified School District, where he supported students from 1st to 12th grade, making a lasting impact in the classroom.
Taylor's collegiate volleyball journey began at Santa Monica College, where he played a key role in leading his team to a runner-up finish in the 2014 State Championship before capturing the 2015 State Championship, where he was named MVP. He continued his career at Lindenwood University, where he led the league in kills and earned Second Team All-Conference honors.
Even now, Taylor remains an active competitor in beach volleyball tournaments while continuing to grow the game both indoors here at Storm and on the sand.
