12 Elite Head Coach

McKenzie Curlee's coaching journey at Storm began in the 2019-20 season, where she made an impactful start as an Assistant Coach. Since then, her dedication and expertise have propelled her to the role of Head Coach, leading our 12's White Performance team to a highly successful season in 2023. McKenzie's commitment extends beyond coaching as she actively contributes to our training programs, including the esteemed Storm Volleyball Academy, clinics, and camps.

A distinguished alumna of Tuloso-Midway High School, McKenzie's academic and athletic prowess shone brightly. She received recognition as Academic All-State Volleyball and earned Honorable Mention during her senior year, showcasing her remarkable achievements on and off the court.

Notably, McKenzie's journey with Storm spans back to our inaugural season, where she played an integral role in shaping the foundation of our program. Her eight-year tenure as a player exemplifies her dedication and loyalty to the sport.

While making significant contributions to Storm, McKenzie is currently pursuing a Teaching Degree at Texas A & M University- Corpus Christi, further expanding her passion for education and mentorship. Her passion for excellence has propelled her to the Dean’s list for four years.

Established in 2010, Storm Performance Volleyball is the premier youth training organization serving Corpus Christi, the Coastal Bend, and families across the South Texas region. Operating out of our dedicated facility at 1418 N Broadway St, Corpus Christi, TX, we have proudly helped 55+ athletes advance to the collegiate level through our developmental academies, specialized clinics, and competitive travel teams.
