Kelsi Luckenbach

Meet Kelsi Luckenbach, our Coaches Coordinator and our 17’s National Team head coach. Kelsi is an exceptional coach and member of our team. With an impressive background in both playing and coaching, Kelsi brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table helping to lead our staff. As a standout athlete, Kelsi's high school career at Tuloso-Midway High School was marked by remarkable achievements. Over her four years as a varsity player, she played an integral role in leading her team to back-to-back final four state appearances during her junior and senior years. Notably, Kelsi was honored as the District 30-5A Blocker of the Year in 2016 and the District 30-5A Hitter of the Year in 2017, showcasing her exceptional skills and dedication. Continuing her passion for volleyball at the collegiate level, Kelsi pursued a successful career at Texas A&M University – Kingsville. She excelled as a player for the Javelina Volleyball team earning all tournament in the Lone Star Conference tournament her Junior year. She earned her Bachelor's degree in marketing in 2021. Kelsi's collegiate journey further enriched her understanding of the game and reinforced her commitment to excellence. Kelsi's coaching journey began with us in the 2019 season, where she started as an assistant coach for one of our top teams. Throughout the 2019-2021 club seasons, Kelsi played a pivotal role as an assistant coach for Storm, leaving a positive impact on the players she worked with. In the 2022 season, Kelsi showcased her leadership skills by guiding our 14 Performance team to four tournament wins and an outstanding overall record of 40-17. Their exceptional performance placed them among the top 10 teams in the highly competitive Lonestar Region. Kelsi's ability to motivate and mentor her team proved instrumental in their success. Building on this momentum, Kelsi continued to raise the bar in 2023 as she took charge of our 15's National team. Under her guidance, the team achieved remarkable heights, earning a high rank of 25 while competing in numerous national qualifiers. Their season culminated with an impressive #5 ranking at CrossCourt, a testament to Kelsi's strategic coaching and dedication to player development. As one of the top teaching coaches in the area, Kelsi specializes in hitting and defense, imparting her expertise to athletes. Her invaluable contributions extend beyond team coaching, as she takes the lead in organizing and conducting clinics and camps, ensuring aspiring athletes have access to top-notch training opportunities. Kelsi Luckenbach is an embodiment of excellence, both on and off the court. Her unwavering commitment to elevating the skills and abilities of our players makes her an invaluable asset to our coaching staff. We are privileged to have Kelsi as a driving force behind the success of our athletes and the growth of our program.

Established in 2010, Storm Performance Volleyball is the premier youth training organization serving Corpus Christi, the Coastal Bend, and families across the South Texas region. Operating out of our dedicated facility at 1418 N Broadway St, Corpus Christi, TX, we have proudly helped 55+ athletes advance to the collegiate level through our developmental academies, specialized clinics, and competitive travel teams.
